I must say, controlling our thoughts can be a challenging process. If controlling our thoughts were easy we would not have addictions, suicides, obesity or reactive states of mind. The good news is, it is possible to control your thoughts. More effectively however, it is better to replace a disempowering thought with an empowering one. We are subject to conditioning as are our animal counterparts. We however, have the ability to change our thoughts and behaviors at will. The key is arming yourself with effective strategies for change. Unfortunately, we were not born with a user manual on how to run our brain. There is much information available in this day and age on how to take charge of your mind. The first step however, is awareness. Second, it is a good idea to question your beliefs and replace those which do not support your spiritual evolvement. Remember, when you say something is or is not possible, you are correct in both instances. The power of belief is extraordinary. Individuals with split personalities demonstrate this; with one personality having diabetes and brown eyes, and the other personality within the same individual not having any sign of diabetes and manifesting blue eyes! Food for thought. Living without violence, anger, frustration, impatience, and other disempowering emotions is our normal state of being. We must come to experientially know this. Pureness of thought, love, joy & bliss are the emotions and characteristics of higher consciousness. We are seeking to become who we have always been!
